Personal Review On Corum Golden Tude
Every watch lover or collector must hear about Corum, one of the tycoons in high-end watch field. Since the establishment in 1955 by Rene Bannwar, it has come with various kinds of renowned collections, including ROMVLVS, Admiral’s Cup, Golden Bridge, etc. All are classic, and highly searched by the world people. It is known to all that Corum watches are the perfect combination of top watch-making craftsmanship and modern high technology.
At the very beginning, Corum seemed to only produce horological masterpieces for men. However, as time passes by, Corum proves the global people by creating the fantastic lady’s watches. The Golden Tube which I am about to introduce here is one of them. The originality of Corum Golden Tube watches should be traced back to 1957. The simple but imaginable geometrical design exclusively expresses the elegance in the 50s, inspired by the customized “Sack Dress”. Its designer, Hubert de Givenchy is the most influential designer in French fashion world.
The Golden Tube takes on an appearance similar to “Cuff-Watch”, featuring a case of 31mm length and 14.5mm width. Different from other versions, it can be worn as a watch as well as a decorative accessory. The design utilizes a “Lucky Charm” accessory concept. The alligator leather strap penetrates through the watch case, making the case in free slide. Besides, the most eye-catching point should be the delicate watch case whose front is enchased with top-grad diamonds, irresistibly luxurious and sparkling. The total weight of the diamonds is 3.58 carats. The mother-of-pearl hemispheric dial is accented with spot diamond hour markers at the position of 3, 6 and 9. At the 12 o’clock direction, you can see the lateral watch crown for time adjustment. The Golden Tube is available white gold or rose gold case, produced at limited edition of 30 pieces in the world. The market price is around $880,000.
